Burlingame on the Avenue: Aug 19th & 20th

(Burlingame, Calif., July, 2017)  --- The Peninsula’s favorite summer arts and entertainment festival is returning to Burlingame Avenue, this August 19-20, 2017! Hosted by the Burlingame Chamber of Commerce, this event is Free to the community, drawing more than 7,000 people over the two-day extravaganza.

Burlingame On the Avenue features hundreds of talented artisans displaying hand-crafted products. These artists’ creations include paintings, textiles, jewelry, children’s fabric books, container gardens, photography, and more! Everything is unique, so this is the perfect place to find a special treat or gift for family and friends which you can’t find anywhere else.

Once again, Burlingame on the Avenue is proud to offer three entertainment stages throughout the festival, which boast a diverse mix of musical and dance performances. Bands play music from all different genres, like Americana, Big Band Jazz, Dance Music, Acoustic Rock, Pop, Funk and Blues. At the local stage, Burlingame on the Avenue also features special cultural acts from Japan, Mexico, Hawaii and—new this year—Russia!

This festival caters to the whole family, with our interactive Kids Zone open to children of all ages, offering carnival style rides and family friendly games.
